Gladstone Engineering Alliance – We’re Working On It

After 15 years of servicing the needs of Gladstone’s engineering, manufacturing and service companies, the Gladstone Engineering Alliance (GEA) are moving into a new chapter by not only shedding their old skin or look but by moving into their first permanent home.

On Wednesday, February 28, the GEA celebrated their brand new look by launching a new marketing campaign called ‘We’re Working On It’ and after 12 months of renovations and over $350,000 put back into the local building industry, they have now moved into their new office, situated at the old city arcade, 69 Goondoon Street.

GEA CEO Carli Homann said the launch of the marketing campaign and new office was successful in that it opened up opportunities to engage not only with their members but industry representatives, stakeholders and the community as well.

“GEA have been providing services and support to the engineering, manufacturing and the direct service supply hub for over fifteen years and we are continually working towards making Gladstone a better place,” Ms. Homann said.

“In moving forward we are really showcasing our five core services and the launch of our new campaign is about connecting not only with our members and industry but to connect with the community on the work that we do to continually build the capability and capacity of our members.”

Ms Homann said the ‘We’re Working On It’ campaign and story was created to showcase how an alliance of businesses can work and come together to create success and who are passionate about developing and building a better Gladstone.

“At GEA, we believe that the most important asset of any organisation is its people, and it’s these people – our members – who work every day to make Gladstone one of the most highly-skilled supply chains,” she said.

“The ‘We’re working on it’ is our statement to our members and the Gladstone business community, that we will continue to provide services and support to our members, and work together to identify and implement the efficiencies that optimise their operations to maximise quality, production and supply chain performance.

“As I said earlier, GEA has been providing services to the Gladstone resource industry supply chain for over 15 years and by moving into permanent premises I believe the GEA is in a strong position to continue delivering services for another 15 years and beyond.”
