Tourism businesses from the Gladstone, Rockhampton and Bundaberg regions have been named finalists at the Queensland Tourism Awards, with Dive Spear and Sport 1770, Bundaberg Rum Distillery Visitor Experience, Hinkler Hall of Aviation, Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort, Mystery Craters, Busbys On Tour – Explore Rockhampton Family Drive Campaign, Great Keppel Island Hideaway, Keppel Dive & Water Sports and Rockynats 06 competing in the 25th annual awards ceremony held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The finalists earned their place in the finals after a rigorous judging program required entrants to reach a minimum scoring benchmark to progress, and QTIC CEO Natassia Wheeler said being named a finalist was an achievement worth celebrating.
