Australian property developer CADRE has secured approval for what is set to become Australia’s largest masterplanned large-format retail (LFR) precinct, unlocking a landmark $250 million development that will transform retail, employment and community in Central Queensland.
Located on a 152,660sqm site at Kirkwood Road, Gladstone, the precinct will deliver approximately 44,000sqm of retail, commercial and community uses across a multi-stage masterplan, and will include a full-line supermarket, LFR tenancies, food and beverage operators, a childcare centre, service station, travel precinct and activity centre, creating a new retail and community destination for the region.
