Leo Rays, who was featured in Issue 233 of Gladstone News, has recently returned from the event in Adelaide where he was one of two children from Regional Queensland to attend.
Leo was part of the QLD Team that competed in the School Sport Australia under 12yrs Australian Football Championships. He was the only child who had been selected from the Capricornia team, and one of only two kids selected from outside of metropolitan areas on the event from August 6 to 12. He is also Calliope State High School’s first student to represent the school in a Queensland team.
