Two Chanel College students have been recognised among Queensland’s brightest young innovators, taking out top honours in the 2025 Premier’s Coding Challenge. Year 8 students Zander S and Benjamin V were named state winners in the Years 7–8 Python/HTML Pairs category, joining just 24 students recognised across Queensland.
Their winning entry, a digital game inspired by the United Nations Global Goals, impressed judges with its creativity, technical skill and focus on real-world youth issues.
