Water has begun flowing into the Aldoga Reservoirs for the first time, marking a significant construction milestone for the $983 million Fitzroy to Gladstone Pipeline (FGP).
The construction of the two 50-megalitre reservoirs has advanced to the stage where hydrostatic testing can now commence. This process involves carefully filling each reservoir with water to test structural integrity, ensuring they are safe, secure, and ready for future operational use. Once testing is successfully completed, work will begin on installing the reservoir roofs and progressing the supporting infrastructure.
