The Fred Hollows Foundation has praised the people of Gladstone for their remarkable generosity throughout 2025, as global aid cuts place some of the world’s most vulnerable at greater risk of avoidable blindness.
More than 640 Gladstone residents, including 44 first-time donors, contributed an impressive $152,000 over the past year. Their support helped deliver life-changing treatment to hundreds of thousands of people living with preventable vision loss.
