When hives of Australian Stingless Native Bees are found in a dangerous or unsuitable location, they are moved to ‘Rescue Hives’!
Two hives were recently rescued after being attached to a water meter, and were placed with Boyne Island State School and Tannum Sands Kindy. These hives now complement the respective gardens, with students creating specific designs for the individual hives.
