In an innovative blend of creativity and environmental consciousness, artist Christine has unveiled her latest collection titled “Waste Deep: From the Anthropocene.” This exhibition presents a striking array of artworks crafted from unconventional materials, primarily marine plastics and recycled objects that would otherwise be destined for the landfill.
Christine’s artistic journey has long been intertwined with a commitment to using found and foraged materials, reflecting her dedication to sustainability. “Experimenting with various materials using weaving techniques forms the main part of my creative process,” she explains. “What I gather greatly influences what I create and what message is behind the work.”
