On Sunday, June 23rd, the annual charity cricket match between the Gladstone Police and the Young Veterans unfolded at the Glen Cricket Club in Sun Valley. This event, now in its second year, was organised to support Combined Services Gladstone, a non-profit organisation made up of emergency services, the RSL, and Young Veterans, all united in their mission to raise funds for local causes.
The match kicked off at 8:30 AM with the Young Veterans winning the coin toss and choosing to bat first. They posted a respectable score of 114/9. However, the Gladstone Police displayed commendable skill, achieving a winning score of 150/6.
