The Art of Glass: Jenny’s Creative Journey and Community Impact
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Jenny has had a lifelong passion for art, which she taught for 26 years before becoming a glass designer. Originally from the Isle of Man and Cornwall, UK, she has lived in Gladstone for the past four years, where she runs her business, “A Little Bit of Lovely.” Jenny brought her glass studio and gallery from Cornwall, where she had been running it for several years prior to her move to Australia. Now, she continues to create bespoke glass pieces and teaches glass art throughout the region.

“The Gladstone Region has so many stunning creative layers once you get over the though of it being industry, and the people here are beautiful,” Jenny says, reflecting on her love for the community that has embraced her work. As the President of ARTmatters at Creative Gladstone Region Inc., for three years, she has become a key figure in the local art scene, teaching glass art and sharing her creative vision.
