The 2025 Paint the Port Art Exhibition opened with a bang, thanks to the fantastic efforts of ARTmatters at Creative Gladstone Region Inc.. The opening night was a true celebration of local talent, bringing together 119 stunning entries that beautifully captured the essence of Gladstone and its surroundings.
This year’s competition was both exciting and challenging for the esteemed judging panel, which included Richard Haward, Executive General Manager of Safety & ESG; Jane Blackbourn, Executive General Manager People; and Claire Robinson, Curator of the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum. Their task was difficult, given the exceptional quality of the submissions.
