Talented young musicians from Tannum Sands State High School recently had the opportunity to perform as part of the prestigious State Honours Ensemble Program (SHEP) Capricornia, hosted by the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.
Designed to extend and challenge students working at AMEB Grade 4–7 level (or equivalent), SHEP Capricornia brings together dedicated music students from across Central Queensland. Over an intensive weekend of rehearsals and workshops, participants collaborated with renowned conductors and educators, culminating in a polished public performance that showcased their musical growth.
