When Rainbow Valley Early Learning Centre first opened its doors three decades ago, it wasn’t just the start of a childcare service; it was the beginning of a vision. Founders Paul and Marion dreamed of creating a place where children could experience what they describe as a “good childhood”: one centred around nature, creativity, and developmentally appropriate learning guided by the latest early childhood research.
At the time, the couple had very young children of their own. Their journey to create Rainbow Valley began with a deeply personal question: What kind of educational environment would we want for our own kids?
