Travellers passing through Gladstone Airport are being welcomed by more than just the usual hustle and bustle, thanks to a new artist-in-residence pilot project led by local artist Katrina Elliott.
Titled Local Artists, Local Stories, the project brings art into a public, everyday space, inviting people to pause, look a little closer and connect with the stories that make Gladstone unique. Through her work, Katrina is celebrating the region’s people, environment and sense of place in a way that feels accessible and inviting.
