At just 23, Gladstone local Kayla Rogers is proving that determination, creativity, and a willingness to take risks can turn a passion into a published reality. 

Like many writers, Kayla’s journey began as a reader. At around nine years old, she discovered the world of fantasy through Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas – a series that sparked a love of storytelling that would eventually shape her future. By her early teens, she was already experimenting with her own writing, sharing stories online and building her confidence chapter by chapter.
