Rebranded, reinvigorated and ready to visit. Gladstone Region’s Tip Shop locations at the Gladstone Transfer Station and Benaraby Landfill have a new look and a new name, The ReUse Sheds. Now sporting a vibrant yellow façade and a social media page to reinforce its core purpose of recycling, The ReUse Sheds will become the Council’s one-stop shop for browsing, buying, repurposing and dropping off pre-loved goods.
Council’s representative on the Local Authorities Waste Management Action Committee (LAWMAC), Councillor Mellissa Holzheimer, said The ReUse Shed stocks a wide range of reusable goods, including furniture, homeware, clothes, toys, tools, books, garden décor and supplies, bric-a-brac, vintage collectables and more. It’s surprising the variety of items available at The ReUse Sheds; 5, every piece purchased helps contribute to the circular economy. Give your items a second life and consider dropping them off at The ReUse Sheds. The ReUse Sheds will accept items that are safe, clean, undamaged, and suitable for resale.
