Joining the Queensland Minerals and Energy Academy (QMEA) and Women in Mining and Resources Queensland (WMARQ), twenty Year 12 students from across Queensland gathered in Brisbane to celebrate their successful completion of the Girls in Resources Leadership Skills (GIRLS) mentoring program.
Gladstone student Shayla Hymus, among other students from the Mackay-Isaac, Fitzroy, North Queensland and Southeast Queensland regions, celebrated completing the program and met up with their industry mentors who have guided them through the program over the last six months.
