Interact Club Raises $20,000 For Families In Need  

Students at Toolooa State High School opened their hearts and raised $20,000 to support families with nowhere to live after disasters and conflict. The Interact Club members have been raising funds and awareness for ShelterBox Australia for more than 10 years and have raised $4,000 this year alone to send to the global ShelterBox network that specialises in emergency shelter for families who have lost their homes to disaster or conflict.   

Student and the Interact Club’s Vice President Caitlin Wyatt recently presented David Taylor, President of Gladstone Port Curtis Rotary Club and ShelterBox Australia Ambassador, with a cheque to support the charity.
