Go-kart racers and families took the trip to Gladstone from Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Emerald, Biloela, Yeppoon, Hervey Bay, Brisbane, and many other parts of Queensland to compete in Leg 1 of the Wide Bay Curtis Cup and the Race for Benny #78.
Racing in a total of 12 categories over an exciting day of burning rubber and tight turns, the participants took out a variety of places across each category.
