The Boyne Island Tannum Sands Cricket Club recently held its 2026 Industries of Cricket Cup over the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of October, marking a massive two days of tense matches culminating in a win for RJ Warren Solar and Electrical.
The first game on Friday night saw Orica and Santos GLNG go head-to-head. GLNG fought hard, but Orica came away with a 186 -142 win. Santos GLNG’s Scott Hoffman was Friday’s Player of the Match. Aurizon and QAL battled it out in a great match in game 2, and at the end of the 20 overs, both teams had scored 203 runs. The game was decided by a super over, with Aurizon winning in a nail-biter by 2 runs, and Tarryn Job taking out Player of the Match this game.
