Have you booked your free tickets to the Christmas in the City event happening this Sunday? The Lifestyle Church, Salvation Army and other local Gladstone Churches have joined forces to put on a free family event on Goondoon Street. With free carol services, face painting, jumping castles, popcorn, fairy floss, petting zoo, food and drinks available, the day is sure to put a smile on the face of every member of the family. And yes you heard me right – everything is free, a blessing from these Churches!
There are 3 carol services at 3pm, 4.30pm and 6pm, with the 6pm service broadcasting live to the LCD screen at Light box for those who missed out on seats. Jessica Hill from the Gladstone Lifestyle Church said this event was the first of its kind in Gladstone and was hatched from a monthly meeting held by all the local churches.
