A new Dignity Vending Machine has been installed at Booths Food Kingdom, one of the Salvation Army’s key food centres in Gladstone, offering free access to period care products for those facing financial hardship.
This initiative is part of Share the Dignity’s national program, which aims to make period care more accessible for women, girls, and anyone experiencing period poverty. The vending machine dispenses free pads and tampons at the push of a button, no questions asked, ensuring dignity and hygiene are never out of reach for those doing it tough.
