Australia’s first whole-of-city renewable hydrogen project, Hydrogen Park Gladstone, has officially celebrated over six months of successful operations during a community event and facility tour held in Gladstone, Queensland.
Operational since November 2024, the project is operated by the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) and supported by the Queensland Government. It has been delivering a blend of up to 10% renewable hydrogen by volume, mixed with natural gas, to approximately 700 homes and businesses across Gladstone, marking a national first in renewable gas integration.
