Local scores co-host gig on Global Adventure Fishing – not just another fishing show!

Local Gladstone woman Krystle Daly and her daughter Dakoda travel the globe having fishing adventures that would make any keen angler jealous. She has secured a lucrative spot as a team member and co-host on the fishing show – Global Adventure Fishing.

After moving to the Gladstone Region in 2017, Krystle and her daughter have fished many of the region’s top spots, recording her adventure on her blog and social media page, KD’s Fishing Adventures. Krystle said she has made some wonderful memories with her daughter as they fished the Gladstone Region.

When the opportunity came up Krystle said she jumped at the chance to become a co-host on Global Fishing Adventures after she saw an ad posted on Facebook by the shows’ creator, fishing champion, Matt Price. “I immediately sent Matt a message with my Facebook page,” she said.

Both Krystle and her daughter are members of the International Game Fishing Association (IGFA). Dakoda is one of the youngest IGFA Junior Anglers. As part of a fishing team made up Australians & Americans Krystle and Dakota have travelled the world chasing the best catch. “It’s about the team that makes the Adventure. The places you go, the people you meet and the journey to get the line wet. It’s inviting, exciting and there’s always something new,” Krystle explained.

At the end of November, the team are travelling to Oregon in the USA chasing trout and salmon and to hopefully get some slams under their belt. Krystle said their entire team will be fishing together, which would be exciting.  Krystle said they have many other fishing adventures planned including plans to travel to Vanuatu in 2019.
