25 May 💡THINK TANK FOR LOCAL ENTREPRENEURS💡
Calliope River Historical Village is inviting local entrepreneurs to bring their ideas and their passions to a special Think Tank event. Held during Queensland’s Small Business Week (QSBW) the Think Tank is an opportunity for local businesses to attend a business entrepreneurs’ workshop. The workshops will explore opportunities to start a business, grow a business and/or diversify a business using the village as a venue.
Queensland Small Business Week 2019 (QSBW) celebrates the small businesses who make a vital contribution to our state’s economy and play an essential role in our regions and communities across Queensland. Each year, QSBW continues to grow, with more events in more locations, delivering a range of opportunities for small business owners to network, connect and learn new skills that will help them succeed now and into the future.
Lyndal Hansen, Armana Director, said the Think Tank event will provide the time and space for entrepreneurs to collaborate and utilise the existing commercial property to benefit this community. “Come along and bring your ideas to the Calliope River Historical Village Think Tank,” Ms Hansen added. The Port Curtis Historical Society Inc. would like to support small businesses, or organisations seeking to the utilise the Calliope River Historical Village in the future. The society aims to capture and preserve the early history of the Port Curtis region for future generations and feel that exploring opportunities for collaboration can help diversify the way the village is utilised.
The Think Tank will be hosted by the Calliope Historical Village on Thursday 30th May from 5.30pm to 7pm. To register your interest in attending contact Lyndal Hansen via email on firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 0408 071 465
