Coles have partnered with Australia’s largest commercial feedlot to test the effectiveness of a feed supplement that has the potential to drastically reduce methane emissions from beef cattle.
Coles have partnered with Mort & Co Grassdale Feedlot in Queensland, West of Toowoomba, to test the abilities of Bovaer as a feed supplement for beef cattle. International studies have already shown that when Bovaer is broken down as part of the natural digestive process of cattle, it was successful in reducing methane emissions.
