Central Queensland Water Plans Set for Consolidation: Community Feedback Needed
The Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water (DRDMW) is inviting central Queensland water users to weigh in on a proposal to consolidate three existing water plans into a single, more comprehensive plan. The initiative aims to merge the Fitzroy Basin, Boyne River Basin, and Calliope River Basin into one expanded region. Additionally, the new plan will incorporate the Styx, Shoalwater, and Waterpark coastal basins, which are currently not covered by a water plan.
