The first official exhibition launch for 2017 will be held the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum from 11am, next Friday January 20.
‘Take a Seat’ celebrates the work of Down Syndrome artist, Peter Rowe, and features colourful paintings focused around the concept of ‘chairs’ as a metaphor. For Peter, ‘chairs’ have opened up a challenging but exciting form of self-expression and a diverse new way of representing his life.
