On Wednesday, the 22nd of April, headspace Gladstone celebrated its 10th anniversary, hosting a positive event with help from the headspace youth. Heartfelt speeches from both the youth and staff members, with cake to celebrate, and a great variety of food for guests. It was a successful afternoon with the Gladstone community showing up to support headspace Gladstone.
Over the past decade, headspace Gladstone has grown from supporting 400 to over 3,500 young people annually, delivered thousands of additional service occasions each year, responded to increasing complexity in presentations, strengthened support across all core streams, improved access for priority groups, and became a trusted central part of the local service system.
