2025 has once again been a very active and rewarding year for the Gladstone Gropers Masters Swimming Club, marked by participation, community connection and a strong focus on fun, friendship and fitness.
This year also saw Masters Swimming Australia celebrate its 50th anniversary. The Gladstone Gropers proudly took part in the national 50×50 Challenge, with the club’s popular Pyramid training session gaining recognition as part of the celebrations. Of those 50 years, the Gladstone Gropers will have been active for 40 by 2026 — a significant milestone for a community club that began around a kitchen table and has thrived ever since.
