This year’s 1770 Festival is set to make history—with heart, heat, and heritage.
For the first time in the event’s celebrated history, the Gooreng Gooreng people will host a traditional Kup Murri, offering festivalgoers a rare and moving experience of culture shared through food, fire, and storytelling. The ceremonial feast will take place on Saturday, 24 May 2025, and is free for all to attend.
