Alpha HPA Takes Final Investment Decision to Enter Full Scale Production in Gladstone

Alpha HPA is poised to make history with the establishment of the world’s largest single-site high purity alumina products refinery in Gladstone, Queensland. The company’s recent announcement to proceed with Stage Two of the HPA First Project marks a significant milestone in the realm of industrial innovation and sustainability.

Following a meticulous three-year product marketing campaign and the successful operation of Stage One, Alpha HPA is now gearing up for the construction of a state-of-the-art facility spanning 10 hectares. Rimas Kairaitis, Managing Director of Alpha HPA, expressed enthusiasm about the project’s advancement. “Construction of the full-scale facility will commence mid-2024, consolidating our commitment to producing high purity alumina’s and aluminium materials,” said Mr. Kairaitis.
