Two very different exhibitions were unveiled together at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum, lit brightly against stark white and grey walls by overhead lights, calling to the viewer to set aside their preconceived ideas of challenge and change, and to embrace what others are going through.
Artists Jude Kennedy and Ping Carlyon shared their artistic talents in the gallery, both exhibitions seemingly conflicting, but on closer inspection both have key themes of embracing change in the environments around us and encouraging the viewer to think about their own relationships with the people around them and with themselves.
