The Gladstone & District Wildlife Carers, a dedicated not-for-profit community organisation, is at the heart of wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation in Central Queensland. Powered entirely by volunteers, the group works tirelessly to care for a diverse range of injured, orphaned, and sick wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, possums, gliders, birds, reptiles, and freshwater turtles. Their ultimate mission? To rescue, rehabilitate, and release these animals back into the wild, while fostering conservation and awareness across the region.
