The Coordinated Community Response to Domestic and Family Violence (CCRDFV) is a network of dedicated individuals working together to address the devastating impacts of domestic and family violence in the Gladstone Region. Their shared mission is to support a community where every person has the right to live a life free from abuse and fear.
The Domestic and Family Violence Remembrance Day brought the community together in a deeply meaningful and supportive way. It was a heartfelt occasion that honoured those who have been affected by domestic and family violence while also reinforcing a strong sense of unity and commitment to change. Representatives from local service providers, businesses, industry, government, council, emergency services, community and social groups, volunteers, and families gathered to pay their respects and stand together in solidarity. The atmosphere throughout the day reflected both reflection and collective strength.
