The Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) has welcomed the re-election of the Albanese Labor Government, calling it a vital opportunity to address Australia’s housing crisis with renewed political stability and momentum.
REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella said a second term offers a “critical window” for action, encouraging the government to shift from planning to delivery. “With a majority and momentum, Australians rightly expect to see swift and decisive action to get roofs over heads,” she said.
