The Gladstone Golf Club is celebrating a remarkable milestone this year, marking 100 years since its foundation and reflecting on a century of sport, community spirit and shared history in the Gladstone region. The centenary has been recognised across the past month with a series of events that have brought members, visitors and the wider community together in celebration of the club’s long standing role in local life.
Festivities have included a strong program of competitions and social events designed to honour both the club’s history and its active present. These have included The Open Day, the Ladies Centenary Cup, the D and B Customs and White walling three person Ambrose, and the Emergency Services Competition. Each event has highlighted not only the competitive side of golf but also the strong sense of connection that continues to define the club. A key highlight will be the upcoming 100 Year Classic on 28 June, along with the Pro Am scheduled for 15 July, both expected to draw strong participation and interest.
