The Gladstone Region has continued to build on its international Friendship Agreement with the Ukrainian city of Melitopol, with a special community afternoon tea held ahead of Easter.
The gathering, hosted by Gladstone Regional Council, reaffirmed the commitment first made in November 2023 to strengthen ties between the two cities. The Friendship Agreement focuses on sharing knowledge and experience in areas such as economic recovery, community development, tourism, industry, renewable energy, and science.
