Central Queensland’s largest environmental awareness event, Ecofest 2025, made a vibrant return to the Gladstone Tondoon Botanic Gardens on Sunday, 1st June, rallying the community under the powerful global message: “Beat Plastic Pollution.”
Running from 9am to 3pm, the free event attracted many locals eager to explore sustainable living and connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for protecting the region’s natural beauty. From eco-conscious families and school groups to industry experts and conservation organisations, the day offered something for everyone.
