Alpha HPA’s rapid rise is putting Gladstone further on the map as a hub for advanced manufacturing, with the company saying global demand for its high purity aluminium materials is now running ahead of what it can produce at its planned local facility.
The Australian chemical manufacturer, Alpha HPA, is building what it describes as the world’s largest single site facility for high purity aluminium materials in Gladstone. While Gladstone is best known for its heavy industry, ports and traditional resource sector, this project is increasingly positioning the city inside the supply chains of artificial intelligence, semiconductors and electric vehicle batteries.
