Whether you’re a visitor or a local, this is something you won’t want to miss! From the 13th to the 24th of April, the Gladstone Visitor Information Centre will be buzzing with creativity as it hosts Local Artist, Local Stories, Seagrass Meadows, featuring one of Gladstone’s much-loved artists, Katrina Elliot.
Fresh from her artist residency at the Coastal Marine Ecosystems Research Centre, Katrina is bringing a stunning new collection to life, inspired by the beauty, movement, and stories of our local seagrass ecosystems. Even better, you won’t just see the finished pieces, you’ll get to experience the magic as Katrina creates artwork live in the space, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at her process.
