Local athlete Milly has done Gladstone proud, earning a bronze medal in the U20 10,000m race walk at the 2025 Australian Track & Field Championships. Competing in just her fourth-ever 10,000m race, Milly delivered a composed and commanding performance that highlighted her growing strength and experience in the sport.
Held in tough conditions—with hot weather and strong winds testing even the most seasoned competitors—Milly remained focused and unshaken. From the starting gun, she settled into a strong rhythm and maintained her position throughout, never looking in doubt for third place.
