Police need assistance – Theft from vehicles in Tannum Sands.

Overnight from April 5 and April 6, a number of vehicles were broken into in the Tannum Sands area with various property items stolen. These offences involved unlocked vehicles and generally wallets, purses and similar items of value stolen.

These offences are taken very seriously and are currently under investigation with a view to identify the offender/s.

Assistance is sought from all residents to prevent further offences and ensure a safe and crime free area. Please be vigilant and remove any items of value from your vehicle and ensure the vehicle is left properly locked and secured.

Please also ensure your homes are left properly secured and any items of value are removed from yards.
