Consolidated Power Projects (CPP) will construct 20km of the new transmission line between Powerlink’s Calliope River Substation to a proposed new Gladstone West substation, south of Mt Larcom.
Approximately 150 workers are forecast to be employed to deliver this body of work, of which 30% are projected to come from Central Queensland communities. The contract announcement follows Powerlink’s commitment to a Community and Social Investment Program for Central Queensland.
