Two of the largest pieces of process equipment for Alpha HPA’s HPA First Facility have been successfully installed on site this week, with a 26-metre-tall reagent absorber and fume scrubber transported to site and erected as the conclusion of months of planning, engineering, logistics and construction coordination draws to a close.
With careful collaboration from Walz Group, the process equipment was supported by specialist lifting equipment, as partners, contractors and site teams carefully prepared to position the large-scale equipment. The installation marks another step forward for the project, ready to become operational in 2027.
