Woolworths, in partnership with Landcare Australia, has announced a significant initiative aimed at supporting outdoor learning projects in primary schools and early learning centres across Queensland. This year, over 100 grants, each valued at up to $1,000, have been awarded to schools to nurture sustainable practices, enhance waste management systems, and promote biodiversity conservation.
In the Gladstone region, local institutions such as Tannum Sands Kindergarten and Goodstart Early Learning Kin Kora are among the proud recipients of these grants. Representatives from Woolworths stores in the area will personally visit each school to present certificates to educators and hear firsthand about their innovative project plans.
