The Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) has welcomed the Crisafulli Government’s decision to reinstate the Queensland Productivity Commission (QPC), calling it a crucial step in tackling rising construction costs and improving housing affordability.
The Queensland Productivity Commission 2024 Bill, passed in Parliament yesterday, paves the way for the QPC’s establishment and upcoming appointments.
