The Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) has welcomed key changes to the state’s new standardised tenancy application form, following successful advocacy to address concerns over privacy, identification requirements, and stakeholder consultation.
The revised form, to be used from the 1st of May for general tenancies, reflects all 19 changes recommended by the REIQ after an earlier version was released without consultation.
