Seven local businesses; LOCATIONS estate agents – Gladstone, Gladstone Betta Home Living, Harbour City Tiles & Carpets, GIW Designs, Elevate Media, Gladstone News and First Prize sponsor The Oaks Hotels Gladstone, are proud to launch #Renovate4680! This is a competition never seen before in Gladstone, and Gladstone News has the rundown!
The competition is about recognising local Kitchen and Bathroom Renovations that have been completed in the last 12 months with the ultimate winner voted by the public! The team of local businesses behind the initiative want to see locals supporting locals by buying locally and employing local tradies to get their renovation projects done!
There are three prizes on offer; a Major Prize for the best overall Kitchen or Bathroom Renovation which includes an overnight stay at the Oaks Gladstone. Accommodated in a 9th-floor Harbour View Apartment, the winner will receive complimentary champagne and a hamper on arrival, as well as a dinner voucher for two at the in-house restaurant Oak & Vine. The Runner-Up Bathroom will receive a gift hamper thanks to GIW Designs and Harbour City Tiles & Carpets. The Runner-Up Kitchen will receive a Nespresso Coffee Machine thanks to Betta Home Living!
In addition to these wonderful prizes, the winners will be featured in Gladstone News including a complimentary photo shoot and editorial thanks to Elevate Media and Locations Estate Agents.
Over the next 8 weeks, locals are invited to submit their entries via email with a shortlist published online in Week 9. From that point, the public will vote on their favourite Kitchen and Bathroom Renovations with the winners announced at a celebration party to be held at Oak & Vine in Week 10.
Throughout the competition #Revovate4680 will be showcasing helpful tips and tricks to help your renovation look its best without costing the earth. Submissions will also be featured online so fellow renovators can get a taste of the competition or gather inspiration for their next project.
Entries are NOW OPEN! To enter it is as simple as emailing at least two photos, one before and one after of your renovation to admin@renovate4680.com Remember to include your details and give the team some insight into where you have sourced your products, inspiration and tradespeople.
Winners will be contacted via email and announced on social media on the 8th December 2018
